"Archiving The Scene" is a duo production by Lo Yuen Ming and Lin Chun Yao. In this work, Chun Yao brings his press photos, revealed alongside Ming's long-term research in minimal images, presented as a painting tutorial.
Documentary photography refers to a nearly truth material, a role of delivery, as well as a reproduction of ‘time’. 'Archiving The Scene' is 
a video series that adopts the rhythm of painting tutorial videos. Using clear film photos as history material, along with an alternative narrative.
Wall paintings analyse how politics influence the everyday lives of a city. During the 2019-2020 protests in Hong Kong, the government hired people to re-paint the wall, and cover up words, thoughts, and identity. This erasing act portrayed the signs of dystopia in the city.
